Education

I am a graduate of U.C. Berkeley, C.U. Boulder and C.U. Denver. I hold a BA and an MA in Philosophy, a post BA in Secondary Mathematics Education and a BS in Biology.

Experience

I moved from Bucharest, Romania to the U. S. in 1988. For the next four years I took English as well as general education classes at Los Angeles City College where I also enjoyed tutoring physically handicapped students. Several years later I was a certified mathematics teacher working with struggling inner city students in the Denver metro area. In the evenings I taught adults at a private University. My teaching philosophy has always been based on the belief that true learning stems from an inner curiosity to know. Instilling such curiosity in my pupils is what still permeates my teaching style.
